An international bank with a strong Canadian presence is looking for a Manager, Risk Reporting & Controls to join its Mississauga office. This is a hands-on role focused on enterprise risk reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting the implementation of new control frameworks.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and overseeing internal and regulatory risk reports for senior leadership and board-level committees
- Supporting risk assessments and control reviews across areas like operational, credit, and regulatory risk
- Helping implement new regulatory guidelines and coordinating with external industry groups and internal stakeholders
- Identifying ways to improve how risk data is collected, analyzed, and presented
- Staying up to date with evolving risk management practices in the Canadian banking sector
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in risk management or audit in Canadian banking
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field (CPA, CIA, or risk certifications are an asset)
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk reporting, and regulatory expectations
- Comfortable working across teams and with external partners
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
