Our client has been a leader in the mechanical services industry for over 40 years, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and mechanical solutions to institutional, commercial, and industrial clients. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Sales Consultant/Inside Sales Support professional to join their team.
Role Overview:
This role involves supporting the outside sales team by managing inbound leads, customer communications, quoting, and CRM tracking. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving preventive maintenance sales and service opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Business Development Manager in identifying and nurturing new leads
- Handle inbound inquiries and conduct initial customer needs assessments
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements
- Schedule site visits and client meetings
- Maintain and update the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
- Follow up diligently with prospects to drive deals to closure
- Support marketing efforts (email campaigns, lead follow-up)
- Coordinate smooth handoffs to the Service Operations team post-sale
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, or account coordination
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical services, or facility services is a strong asset
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping businesses solve problems
- Proficient in using CRM platforms and basic MS Office tools
