Title: Lead Servicing Analyst

Duration: 12 Month Contract + extensions/conversion

Location/Model: Toronto, Hybrid 1x per week

Hourly Rate: 34.25 T4 or 38.50 incorporated

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Servicing Analysts to join the team with one of our large banking clients in the downtown Toronto area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Provides loan servicing and monitoring support for corporate and commercial lending portfolios in a professional and timely manner.
• Delivers agreed lending/financing services as specified in the credit agreement/approval and ensures all required policies, guidelines and standards are met.
• Addresses customer services issues according to established parameters, escalating as required
• Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities
• Executes routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, queries etc. within relevant service-level agreements
• Investigates and addresses specific customer issues
• Completes administrative activities to ensure the smooth operation of the unit; including scanning and filing documents as required
• Supports the development of tools and delivery of training focused on delivering business results - Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting
• Collaborates to execute loan servicing and monitoring requests
• Prepares customer notifications and billings, and processes services and transactions including (but not limited to) loan advances/payments, wire transfers, billing for principal/interest/fees, monitoring collateral positions, financial exceptions, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3-5 years of a relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Commerce or Finance

- Experience in corporate and commercial lending and loan servicing

- Experience dispersing money via direct transfer, wire transfers, SWIFT, or other methods

- Ability to calculate fees and interest - Knowledge and understanding of business unit's products and services, processes and controls

- Knowledge of standard desktop applications and department systems and applications

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

- Self-starter with an eager attitude to learn and grow in an exciting and fast-paced work environment
