Redstar Transport Ltd, located in Aldergrove, BC, is seeking to hire a Truck Mechanic. We are looking to fill a full-time position. The truck mechanic will perform the following duties: Inspect and test engines, transmissions, axels and brake systems to locate faults and malfunctions. Repair or replace components of engines by hand or using power tools. Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication, brakes, as per recommended guidelines. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems. Proficiency with all tools of the trade, shop machines and power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment. Perform other related duties as required.
