Managing all operations of the accounting team

Prepare all financial statements while reporting directly to the Financial Controller

Coordinates all budgeting and forecasting processes while collaborating across departments with key stakeholders

Ensure financial systems and processes are improving when necessary

Evaluate existing procedures while providing recommendations for efficiency and optimization

Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance across regulatory reporting and auditing process

Collaborate with internal and external auditors

Handles direct and indirect tax filings and ensures regulations are met

CPA Designation

BA in Accounting (preferred)

7 + years of experience (wholesale or Distribution preferred)

Experience in the public sector is an asset

Excellent leadership abilities

IFRS and GAAP Knowledge

Excellent Microsoft Suite Skills
