About the Opportunity

• Perform analysis on debt assumptions for the purpose of testing reasonability, documenting trend analysis, and verifying inputs
• Compile supporting schedules and perform variance analysis to prior forecast and year-over-year for various budget/forecast inputs
• Perform research for forecasting inputs, such as interest rates, as well as competitor, industry, and other information for investor presentation support
• Coordinate and liaise with cross-departmental internal teams
• Prepare ad hoc "what-if" scenarios and sensitivity analyses for management, as well as other functional teams
• Assist with various IT projects and initiatives
• Participate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned

About You

• Professional accounting designation (CPA or CFA) is preferred
• Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a Finance or Accounting function, preferably within a public company
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial forecasting/modeling
• Experience working with accounting systems (e.g., JDE)
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge; real estate industry knowledge is an asset
• Experience with REITs is considered an asset

Salary Range

$85,000 - $95,000/year
