Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Oversight Supervisor to provide professional oversight on construction projects.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to provide on-site construction oversight for the site extension project. The successful candidate will support the client's team by managing and coordinating electrical construction activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and facilitating smooth project execution from preconstruction through to commissioning.

Schedule:

• Option 1: 10 days on / 4 days off, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Option 2: 6 days on / 1 day off, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Preference for candidates local to the area due to demanding schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction Phase:

• Participate in site planning and review of construction documents (approx. 40 hours/week)
• Attend site trips to site or Regina as required
• Receive and manage materials delivered to site
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, telehandler) as needed

Construction Phase:

• Coordinate contractor staff and daily activities on site
• Maintain a strong on-site presence during all construction activities
• Perform QA/QC duties, including ITP and QC form review
• Monitor construction schedule and support corrective action planning
• Ensure contractor adherence to contractual obligations and site safety standards
• Review contractor invoices and associated material documentation
• Manage RFIs, contractor redlines, and documentation turnover
• Conduct walkdowns for commissioning and operations handover
• Hold Standard Protection Code (LOTO) permits as needed
• Manage site logistics, including laydown area usage
• Provide daily and weekly reporting to the client and project stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising electrical construction activities, preferably on hydro or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and safety protocols
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Comfortable operating forklifts and telehandlers (certification preferred)
• Experience with permitting under the Standard Protection Code is an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Availability to work full-time on-site under the designated shift schedule
