Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team.

Working with Project Managers on site, the Project Coordinator supports the planning, scheduling, execution and completion of projects. They work collaboratively with other teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. To be successful, the candidate needs to have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help develop project plans, schedules, and identify milestones alongside the project manager and other team members.
  • Ensure necessary equipment, materials and personnel are on site as per the project schedule.
  • Act as the main point of contact and coordinate communications for the various departments and teams working on the project.
  • Provide project manager and stakeholders with regular updates on the project status, including project schedule and budget.
  • Maintain project records and prepare reports as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
  • Degree in Business Administration or engineering.
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite, MS Project, P6, or SAP
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
