Electronics Assembler

Job Title: Electronics Assembler
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday, availability required between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

The Electronics Assembler will be responsible for assembling electronic components and parts into finished or semi-finished products. This role involves reading blueprints and drawings, taking accurate measurements, using hand tools or equipment, and ensuring components are assembled correctly according to specifications.

This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience working with electronics assembly or soldering.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions
• Gather materials, components, and equipment required for assembly
• Take accurate measurements to ensure components meet specifications
• Select, adjust, or modify components based on measurements and production requirements
• Align materials and assemble parts into more complex units
• Use hand tools, equipment, or machines to complete assembly tasks
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Track production quantities and time as required
• Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the appropriate contact
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements
• Perform other assembly or production duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous electronics assembly experience required
• Soldering experience required
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Able to sit, stand, and perform hands-on assembly work as required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Completion of post-secondary education considered an asset
• Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• CSA-approved safety shoes required
