Warehouse Labourer

Job Title: Warehouse Labourer
Location: Bedford, NS
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

The Warehouse Labourer will support daily warehouse operations by unloading shipping containers, sorting product, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This role involves repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and other physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.

This position requires someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Unload products and materials from incoming shipping containers
• Sort and organize items by type, size, or destination
• Move, stage, and organize product throughout the warehouse as required
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete assigned tasks
• Use basic material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and workplace instructions
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, container unloading, or general labour experience considered an asset
• Able to lift 50 to 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual labour for extended periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear required
