Job Title: Driver Helper

Location: Burlington, ON

Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Type: Part-time, on-call

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

We are looking for a reliable Driver Helper to join a busy bulk meat and grocery delivery company in Burlington. This is a hands-on role involving loading, unloading, customer service, and frequent lifting of up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading meat and grocery products
• Check orders against invoices and packing lists
• Assist the driver with customer deliveries
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures
• Report shortages, damages, delivery issues, or customer concerns
• Keep the delivery vehicle and loading areas clean
• Safely handle raw, refrigerated, frozen, and packaged food products
• Perform other general labour duties as required

Requirements

• Comfortable with physical work and repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Available for overtime when required
• CSA-approved safety footwear required
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
