Your main responsibilities

  • Support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, which includes:
  • Prepare and update design drawings using Civil 3D or similar design tools; assist with modelling, quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and drafting.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful execution, for small to medium-scale municipal projects with support from Project Managers and senior team members.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and engineering documentation.
  • Manage feasibility and piloting studies, environmental, capacity and condition assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and compliance. Conduct on-site reviews for Quality Assurance and construction supervision

What makes you unique

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal engineering or civil infrastructure design.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as an Engineering Technologist (C.Tech. or A.Sc.T.) with SASTT (Technology Professionals Saskatchewan) or equivalent out-of-province association.
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related civil design/drafting software.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites.
