Definition of work:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Primary Health Care and
Community Services/Rural Health, this Manager is responsible for ensuring the
delivery of a seamless continuum of health services to residents of the Coast of
Bays Health Service area. The role encompasses oversight of operational and
administrative functions across all program areas, including primary health care,
emergency services, long-term care, community services, and related programs.
The Manager will work collaboratively with other site operations managers,
regional program leaders, physicians, local networks, and community
organizations to promote integrated, person- and family-centered care. This
position requires leadership in fostering quality improvement, safety, and
effective partnerships to support the ongoing development and sustainability of
health services throughout the region. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and
motivated leader, bringing creativity and innovation to support the ongoing
operation and advancement of health services in the Coast of Bays Service area.
Required qualifications:
â–ª Undergraduate degree.
▪ Five years’ progressive management experience.
â–ª Relevant and current experience working in a health framework, leading
people and processes as well as leading effective strategic change
management initiatives.
â–ª Proven experience in partnership development, program planning and
evaluation, project management and leading quality/change initiatives.

â–ª Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
â–ª Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize.

▪ Class 05 driver’s license and the ability to travel.

authority.
Preferred qualifications:
• A graduate degree in a health-related discipline
