The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Senior Applications Support Analyst to join our Systems and Quality team. With a modern, cloud-first architecture and digitized work-environment, our Systems and Quality team takes pride in delivering innovative IT services and support to Provident10 employees and board members.
In this permanent role, you will be a key team member in the provision of core application maintenance and support services to our internal stakeholders and will contribute to the ongoing core application enhancement and implementation activities. Finally, you will be responsible for Systems and Quality Technical Writing and will provide backup for the Data Analyst.
Your key activities will include:
- Facilitate and conduct business analysis activities for application changes and enhancements.
- Facilitate, conduct, and coordinate QA activities for application changes, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Contribute to core application vendor management processes and discussions.
- Contributes to the IT Demand Management Framework processes and discussions.
- Track issue resolution against vendor SLAs to ensure compliance.
- Act as an escalation point for the Applications Support Analyst.
- Development of application and service level reports as required.
- Provide user education where required.
What you'll bring to the role
- A bachelor's degree, or college diploma in application analysis development or related field, supplemented by a minimum of five years of work experience in a related function. Equivalencies will be considered.
- Experience working in an applications production support/application development environment.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, with specific focus on business analysis, quality assurance, and technical writing. Development experience is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle, requirements elicitation, and software quality assurance.
- Knowledge of business process analysis and process automation.
- Working knowledge of Laserfiche, ServiceNow, and Sage is considered an asset.
Salary Range: $80,700 - $112,900
