Our St Johns branch is hiring a Summer Student, with the position set to begin in early July 2026 and will conclude at the end of August. Working within our Branch means you will interact and support thousands of members and customers by providing in-person support services.
Are you enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to school in the Fall 2026? Are you someone who enjoys interacting with people? Are you someone whose natural motive is to help others?
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in delivering CAA Atlantic's Member First philosophy by providing exceptional service and expert guidance to our Members. In this member-facing role, you will develop an understanding of our Memberships and act as the first point of contact when people enter the office.
You will provide support to the St Johns team by welcoming people into the office and determining their needs. You'll also assist with services such as issuing International Driving Permits, taking passport photos, and ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
As part of a supportive team environment, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery and smooth branch operations. You'll use your interpersonal skills to ensure people are greeted in a welcoming manner. This is a part time position for Saturdays in July and August from 9am to 1pm. This is an hourly paid position.
- Provide signature experience customer service to our members and customers
- Contribute to a team-based environment
- Take passport photos
- Process International Driving Permits
- Other duties as required
- You possess a high school diploma and preferably have some post-secondary education
- Minimum age of 18
- Located within St Johns
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- You are savvy with computer software and can pick up new skills quickly
- You have enjoyed your experience working with the public.
- Most of all you have an awesome attitude and desire to help people.
