Bragg Resources a member of the Oxford Food Group located in Debert Nova Scotia. Bragg Resources is an operating tree seedling nursery that produces approximately six million seedlings annually for reforestation.

Position Scope:

The Truck Driver is responsible for operating the tree seedling truck that delivers seedlings to planting sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving trucks.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Filling out daily logs and records.
• Following all safety procedures on and off-site.
• Performing general maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Work Environment & Physical

• On-site greenhouse environment.
• Lifting up to 16 kg (35 lbs).
• Use of personal Protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Work in extreme weather conditions, including heat and rain.

Qualification & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is not required but is considered an asset.
• Occupational First Aid License is not a requirement but would be considered an asset.
• Possession of Class 5 Driver's License,
• Provide a drivers abstract form Department of Motor Vehicles is a requirement.
• On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.

• Willingness to work alone when required.
