Bell is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Asset Management – Data Centre Infrastructure to lead asset lifecycle governance across its national data center portfolio.Reporting to the Director, Procurement & Asset Management, this role owns the accuracy, traceability, and long?term stewardship of critical infrastructure assets from acquisition through steady?state operation and retirement. Success in this role ensures assets are supportable, auditable, cost?effective, and aligned with operational and customer requirements in mission?critical environments.
Key Responsibilities- Own end?to?end asset lifecycle governance, from initial asset intake through installation, operation, refresh, and retirement.
- Define and maintain asset lifecycle strategies including warranty coverage, spares models, refresh timing, and end?of?life planning aligned to site criticality and SLAs.
- Ensure assets are supportable in steady?state operations prior to formal handover and operational acceptance.
- Maintain authoritative, serialized asset records across all data center locations, depots, and staging environments.
- Ensure full traceability of assets including make/model, serial, location, status, warranty, contract linkage, and ownership.
- Govern reconciliation between physical assets, asset systems, and financial records to maintain audit readiness.
- Own warranty tracking, entitlement validation, and lifecycle coverage in coordination with Operations and Procurement.
- Define spares strategies, stocking levels, and replenishment models to minimize risk of downtime.
- Support vendor escalations related to asset performance, defects, RMAs, and lifecycle support gaps.
- Govern asset management tooling and data quality standards (ERP, CMDB, DCIM, asset systems).
- Establish asset KPIs and reporting (availability, lifecycle status, audit exceptions, refresh exposure).
- Ensure readiness for internal and external audits through disciplined documentation and controls.
- Partner closely with Data Center Operations on asset acceptance, maintainability, and in?life performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure asset standards and lifecycle assumptions align with design intent.
- Align with Program Controls on asset capitalization, changes, and lifecycle impacts.
- 8-10+ years of experience in asset management, lifecycle governance, or operations within data center, network, or mission?critical environments.
- Demonstrated experience running multi?site asset inventory and serialized control programs.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle concepts including warranties, spares, refresh, and retirement planning.
- Experience operating in audit?sensitive or regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross?functional leadership skills.
- Data center infrastructure experience (power, cooling, racks, network, or compute assets).
- Familiarity with SAP and enterprise asset management tools.
- Operational exposure to mission?critical facility environments
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
