It's a unique opportunity to work here, and we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our PAL Talent Acquisition Supernovas team in St. John's, NL.

In this role you will work with business leaders to define their recruitment needs and execute recruitment campaigns to attract talented people to our business. You will use your specialized skillset to advise and guide the business, sourcing and engaging both active and passive candidates across a wide range of roles. Passionate about providing candidates with an exceptional experience, you are a professional who values high-tough, proactive approach to recruitment, with a reputation for attention to detail, responsiveness and a creative approach to talent acquisition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the recruitment process from start to finish, implementing the optimal strategy to identify, select, assess, and hire candidates across various professions and position levels for a variety of business leaders.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the talent market, competitors, and PAL business needs in assigned portfolio in order to better forecast available talent pools and market trends.
  • Display passion for the talent acquisition practice by establishing connections, leveraging a professional online and social media presence, and prospecting talent through your network.
  • Ability to see beyond posting a job ad and waiting for candidates to apply. Act as a headhunting guru to build candidate pools and pipelines.
  • Assessment of candidates, leveraging various tools including phone interviews, digital video interview assessment, to present candidate slate to Hiring Manager.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to candidates, ensuring a positive experience, providing timely feedback and managing expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with leaders and internal partners involved in all aspects of the recruiting process.
  • Organize and participate in open houses, networking events and career fairs.
  • Create and edit job postings, pre-screens and interview guides.
  • Participate in hiring manager interview training.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of three years' full cycle recruitment experience (high volume recruitment experience is considered an asset).
  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in business (BComm or BBA) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting skills (LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume Subscription).
  • Skilled in fostering culture and works towards goals of diversity & inclusion.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure tight deadline environments.
  • Time management skills and the ability to handle a large diverse portfolio of requisitions.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
