We are recruiting for an Aquatics Supervisor to join our team at the East Hants Aquatics Centre!

Reporting to the Aquatics Coordinator, the Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day delivery, supervision and administration of aquatics programs. The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for mentoring and developing the aquatics team, fostering positive relationships with facility users, and enforcing policies and practices that ensure the safety of staff and facility users.

What you can offer:

  • High school diploma plus a minimum of a 2 years' post secondary education.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience and preferable 1-year experience in a supervisory role.
  • Current certification in NLS pool option, Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, Lifesaving Instructor and Examiner and Swim For Life Instructor, with a willingness to obtain additional certifications.
  • Comfort and proficiency using the MS Office suite, and the ability to learn new software.
  • Clear criminal record and child abuse registry checks.
  • A demonstrated aptitude for guiding, motivating and leading a team towards achieving collective goals.
  • A champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with skills to foster a welcoming and accessible environment for all staff and visitors.
