We are searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Project Management and Software Solutions team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
- Operationally focused, this role will work closely with our new service line, Transitional Health.
- Job shadow individuals across multiple roles to understand current work practices related to patient care documentation, covering the full admission-to-discharge process.
- Prepare user stories, conduct patient health record digital system needs analysis, source vendors and software solutions, and present recommendations.
- Design optimal work practices, documentation standards, and workflows to support patient care.
- Lead and implement the selected electronic health record, including change management, training, and user adoption.
- Monitor performance over a defined period.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and lead projects to address them using Business Analysis tools and methodologies.
- Perform predictive and trend analysis to support strategic planning.
- Act as liaison between clinical, operational, and corporate teams to ensure alignment.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of requirements, processes, and system configurations for future reference and audits.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant business analysis experience
- CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) designation or working towards considered an asset
- PMP or PMP-PBA Certification
- Expert application of business analysis methodologies (BABOK-aligned), including requirements lifecycle management, impact analysis, and benefits realization tracking.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable business and system requirements across multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and business intelligence tools to support KPI development, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
- Experience in a healthcare setting would be considered an asset
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt and Agile Certifications would be considered an asset
