What is the opportunity?

this position will partner with the Centre of Excellence responsible for driving national processes by coordinating a regionally managed operating model for Facilities Management, Hospitality and Sustainability, both internally and via vendor relationships within Global Workplace Experience and Sustainability.

What will you do?

• Ensure delivery of Facilities Management (FM) services for RBC Office premises across Canada

• Executing the Target Operating Model, providing subject matter expertise as the Facility Management Centre of Excellence for Office FM

• Manage and govern the outsourced Service Partner relationship, as well as other 3rd-party vendor relationships covering our Integrated FM practice

• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the strategic RBC Office landlords nationally

• Build a strong partnership with the business unit by providing a balanced, cost-effective, and risk-mitigated FM solution

• Continuously evolve service provision, generate and import innovation, industry best practices and emerging technology solutions

• Ensure RBC premises are managed safely in compliance with laws and regulations, with a special focus on the 16 Office locations (2,936,714 sq. ft.) across Canada

• Deliver the annual CRE Savings targets from the FM service line through innovative procurement strategies and operational efficiencies

What will you need to succeed?

• 7 to 10 years of experience in a property or facility management role, with portfolios of properties ranging from retail, standalone, to large office towers

• Experience managing service provider performance and working knowledge of physical health and safety, regulatory/statutory requirements, and service models within the facility management profession

• Experience in using or overseeing teams that use CAMMS systems is required

• Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products is a plus, as well as other data management tools within real estate

• Experience related to strategic relationship management is also a plus

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$90,000.00 - $140,000.00
