Supervisor, Customer Care

Key Responsibilities:
As the leader of Hydro's customer contact team, you will direct responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and our website. You will oversee the orientation, training, coaching and guidance of customer service representatives, as well as ensure escalated or sensitive customer disputes are responded to promptly and accurately. Directing accounts receivable activities through customer correspondence and field activities will be a primary responsibility of the position. You will also support management by executing effective cost controls and developing Customer Service strategic improvements. Reporting on departmental activities, such as call center performance and outstanding receivables, is required on a regular basis. You are the primary liaison of your group with other Hydro departments, including Corporate Communications, Regulatory, Safety, Human Resources, and Transmission/Regional Operations.
You are the safety leader for your group, ensuring that all employees of your section observe the Company's Safety and Health requirements as well as performing work in an environmentally responsible manner. You are responsible for creating and measuring performance indicators for employees and processes, using available data to improve our results in Customer Contact and Collections.
What You'll Need:
You have completed an undergraduate degree in Business, with a concentration in Accounting or Human Resources and have five years supervisory experience in the areas of customer services, credit and collections and customer accounting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. You have strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and are able to effectively deal with customer service and employee issues. You possess strong computer skills and are familiar with Word, Excel and Powerpoint applications.
