JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Vice-President of Communications and Engagement, the incumbent plays a strategic role in the promotion, posititioning and engagement of Vitalité Health Network.
The incumbent actively contributes to the achievement of the organization's priorities by developing and implementing integrated, innovative and results-driven communications and marketing strategies. They ensure that internal and external communications support the transformation of the health care system, boost staff engagement and foster trust in the Network among patients and communities.
The incumbent leads a team responsible for Vitalité Health Network's communications and marketing activities. They ensure the consistency, quality and impact of the organization's communications, while helping to build a strong, proud and unifying identity. This person works closely with the Director of Media Relations and Public Affairs and the Corporate Director of Engagement to achieve communications and engagement objectives.
In a constantly changing environment, the incumbent plays a key role in strategically positioning Vitalité Health Network, promoting its initiatives and safeguarding its brand image. They also promote the continuous improvement of tools, processes and communication platforms to optimize the effectiveness and reach of communications aimed at different audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field;
- Over ten years of relevant experience in the field, including experience in team management;
- Good understanding of the challenges facing the health sector or complex public organizations;
- Proven ability to develop communication strategies and manage high-profile projects;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills;
- Strategic mindset, creativity and innovative thinking;
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Keen sense of ethics, sound judgment and professional diligence;
- Strong motivation to contribute to the development of the health care system and to the mission of Vitalité Health Network;
- Willingness to travel within Vitalité Health Network's territory and a valid driver's licence;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
