Shift: Days, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Rate of Pay: $23.00/hour

Location: Milton, Ontario - James Snow Parkway North & Regional Road 25

Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking Temporary Warehouse Custodians to join our client's distribution center in Milton. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, as the location is not accessible by public transit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a commercial or industrial cleaning role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine cleaning, sanitizing, and dusting in areas such as break rooms, restrooms, warehouse spaces, meeting rooms, and offices
• Use cleaning equipment to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the warehouse
• Sort and properly dispose of garbage and recycling
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies in offices, break rooms, washrooms, and warehouse areas
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of janitorial supplies as needed
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general floor care across the facility
• Support additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a janitorial or custodial position
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (site is not transit-accessible)
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• CSA-approved safety shoes in good condition
• Able to provide a criminal record check
