Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour
Available Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm, Monday - Friday
Location: Burlington, ON (Appleby Line and Mainway)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our client's warehouse facility in Burlington. This is an immediate opportunity for skilled operators with strong communication skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a propane Counterbalance forklift throughout the warehouse
- Load, unload, and move products efficiently
- Receive products and update inventory using an RF scanner and warehouse management system
- Coordinate with drivers and team members regarding shipments
- Repetitively lift items weighing up to 50lbs
- Pick and pack orders to meet daily shipment quotas
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid in-house or third-party Counterbalance forklift license
- 1-2 years of recent experience as a Counterbalance forklift operator or material handler
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or loading dock environment
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to provide a Criminal Record Search
