Our Major Account Coordinator is responsible for providing support and reporting to large business customers, as well as providing positive customer experience. The customer base may include large enterprise customers, but the focus is on public sector, namely the federal government and provincial governments (NS, PEI, NL, etc.) where needs for support and reporting may range from the simple to the complex.

This position is Sales Support for Eastlink’s largest business customers, namely provincial and federal government accounts. Working closely with the Director of National Major Accounts, the Major Account Coordinator interacts directly with these public sector customers and handles day-to-day support, such as the coordination of site visits, engineering assessments, quotes, orders, billing questions, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle account inquiries and provide thorough responses promptly. When a response cannot be readily provided, provide frequent updates to customers.
  • Provide sales support to the Director of National Major Accounts by facilitating the following:
  • Qualifying sales opportunities
  • Site Surveys, Engineering Assessments, Work Orders and implementations
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers through accurate and efficient handling of the details
  • Investigate billing issues and perform account reconciliations, such as:
  • Track services by site and maintain accurate list
  • Track contracts for expiry dates and renewals
  • Compiles and interprets data, including service performance indicators such as availability, usage. Service interruptions, incidents, etc. and produces reports for both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 required with post-Secondary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Prior experience with Eastlink systems assets
  • Technical aptitude and ability to trouble shoot
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Very organized and able to meet deliverables and deadlines
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch gears as required
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
