What your day looks like
As a Pharmacy / Administrative Assistant, you are on the front line, receiving authorization requests via fax from providers. You ensure all required information is obtained to process requests efficiently, resolve issues, and consistently demonstrate a client focused, above and beyond approach.

Your Qualifications

  • Post secondary diploma or degree in Health, Medical Administration, Office Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

What you need to succeed

  • A genuine desire to help people - this is non negotiable
  • Strong communication skills - clear, concise, and friendly
  • A "whatever it takes" attitude and comfort with new challenges every day
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to multitask across multiple systems
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage both routine and challenging calls or cases
  • Accuracy and efficiency while working under time constraints
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Mature, professional judgment and sound decision making
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset

Pay Range:
40 254 - 45 285 CAD

The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
