AZ Driver (Class 1)

Job Title: AZ Driver (Class 1)
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: On-call / short-term assignments (minimum 4-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

We are seeking experienced AZ Drivers (Class 1) to support fleet maintenance operations for a valued client. This is a flexible, on-call opportunity ideal for drivers looking to supplement their income with short-term assignments.

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting commercial vehicles to and from maintenance facilities to support scheduled service programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all regulations and company policies
• Transport trucks and equipment between client locations and service facilities
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure timely movement of vehicles to support scheduled maintenance
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with client teams and service providers

Requirements

• Valid AZ (Class 1) driver's licence
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean driver's abstract
• Criminal record check
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving safety standards
• Ability to accept short-notice, on-call assignments

Work Conditions

• On-call, ad hoc work based on client needs
• Minimum 4-hour pay guarantee per shift
• Local work within the Kingston area
• Work focused on equipment movement (no heavy delivery requirements)
