What is the Opportunity?

Join RBC's dynamic Auto Finance business—a unique hybrid spanning both Retail and Commercial Banking. We finance over $10B in consumer vehicle loans annually through a vast network of Canadian dealerships while supporting dealer commercial needs.

We're seeking a Director of Growth and Pricing to lead our Retail team and drive profitable growth through strategic leadership, OEM partnerships, pricing management, and program innovation. What Will You Do?

Drive Profitable Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies that drive our $10B+ annual originations volume and market share growth targets leveraging a wide set of levers.

  • Directly manage pricing and incentive programs with high quality to deliver on profitability goals for the business across our subvented and non subvented programs.

  • Work closely with risk partners to collectively ensure credit risk of the business meets risk appetite and annual targets.

Drive a great client experience across our dealer network and OEM partners

  • Build fantastic experiences for our OEM partners alongside our Sales team, leveraging the power of RBC.

  • Create an industry leading dealer rewards program that delivers strong value to our best dealers and helps grow our business both in the retail space and commercially

Influence and Collaborate

  • Chair critical Auto Finance forums and to shape strategic decisions and manage the business

  • Work alongside Sales, Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk, Marketing, and Operations teams to execute ambitious goals

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across the Auto industry

Inspire and Develop Talent

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence through coaching, and talent management.

Ensure Operational Excellence

  • Oversee and optimize ongoing reporting and control processes related to all aspects of the business, including highly critical OEM subvention process

  • Maintain robust documentation and governance to ensure well-managed processes

What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Have:

  • Strong financial acumen across all aspects of managing a lending portfolio

  • Proven experience leading high-performing teams and complex cross functional projects

  • Experience managing pricing programs with a track record of success

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build compelling business cases and execute large-scale transformations.

  • Exceptional stakeholder influence and communication skills to drive outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of retail lending, preferably with experience in the Auto Finance industry.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in delivering marketing programs

  • Data and analytics background
