Job Description
What is the role?
As the Manager, Data & Analytics you will be a subject matter expert for Commercial Operations data, playing a key role in driving superior analysis and insights that enable visibility of risks and enable oversight of key Commercial Operations metrics. You will support the enablement of critical business strategies and drive value through in-depth data analysis, data mapping and creating standardization across multiple partners that will be the foundation to implementing critical strategic efforts. You will champion the use of deep analytical rigor and leverage all available sources of data to enable source of truth datasets. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to actively engage in critical initiatives aimed at achieving clarity and oversight.
What will you do?
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) for Commercial Operations Data to provide insights to senior leaders to enable business decisions on opportunities to reduce risk and drive oversight
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather information from various sources to create & support reports and insights material to drive clarity within the space
- Transform and drive deep data insights by developing advanced reporting and analytics
- Identify appropriate data sources, develop reporting solutions, and automate the process to support regular reporting that help business partners make informed, timely decisions
- Draw on your data experience and analytical mindset to identify opportunities for improvement of existing operations reports
- Be a thought partner within the Commercial Operations Team by supporting data analysis and communicating meaningful insights that are valued by partners
- Create and maintain accurate documentation related to reporting solutions, including specifications, data lineage, technical and business definitions for metrics
- Provides insights to senior leaders to make business decisions on opportunities to increase productivity, optimize costs, improve client/employee experience
What do you need?
Must-have
- Proven operations experience, working with operational data
- Advanced technical skills using Tableau, SQL, Python, Teradata, Power BI
- Proficiency in research, data analysis, problem-solving and ability to conceptualize strategy
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well collaboratively in a cross-function environment, partner with stakeholders and take initiative
- Ability to breakdown complex problems and develop comprehensive solutions
Nice-to-have
- Experience in Commercial Operations
- Experiencing with EDW, Snowflake, Datameer
