Hours: 75 (8 hours, Other Shift, Rotating; Days, Evenings, Weekends)
A variety of shifts but not limited to 0800-1600, 0830-1630, 1100-1900 and 1200-2000 Hours; Flexible hours required; Monday to Sunday (Evenings and Weekends will be required).

Definition of Work: This position requires a high degree of motivation, organization, and communication skills to support the fast-paced environment of a medical clinic. The Typist II will be responsible for scanning functions ongoing maintenance of electronic medical record (EMR), Telehealth, data entry, registration processes, reception, communication, and management of information flow, and other related clerical duties as assigned. Please note this position operates out of the Woody Point Medical Clinic and the Trout River Medical Clinic. The incumbent may be required to travel throughout the Bonne Bay-Port Saunders Health Neighborhood Areas. Mileage and appropriate per diems will be paid in accordance with the CUPE Collective agreement for travel outside of the Woody Point Medical Clinic and the Trout River Medical Clinic.

Qualifications: Completion of a two-year, full-time office administration program or a 1 year Office Administration diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a medical clinic setting is required. A typing speed of 40 words per minute and medical terminology are also required.

In the event no suitable candidate is found with the above noted qualifications, other levels of experience and training may be considered for this position.
