Title :Shunter (AZ Licensed)
Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Evening/Night Shift - Some weekends
Location: Ottawa East, ON
We are seeking an experienced AZ Shunter to join a well-established roofing client in the east end of Ottawa. Specializing in roofing materials and expert services, this client relies on this role to ensure the efficient and safe movement of trailers and materials throughout their facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Move and position trailers within the yard and loading bays safely and efficiently
- Facilitate the smooth flow of materials and equipment to support production schedules
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to meet daily deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Contribute to overall project quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid AZ Driver's License (required for moving trailers)
- Air Brake Endorsement (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
