JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent will report to the Assistant Director of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Cybersecurity Operations. Their mandate will be to support the development, implementation, integration and evolution of cybersecurity services. They will actively contribute to the protection of the organization's information assets by monitoring and analyzing security incidents. The analyst will play a key role in the continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity posture.

To perform their duties and ensure that needs are met effectively, the incumbent will need to establish communication links and work closely with all IT departments (SNB), the Security Operations Centre (SOC), users and suppliers. Depending on organizational needs, the incumbent will be called upon to evaluate IT solutions and initiatives to ensure an adequate level of quality and security.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in computer science with a concentration in computer security, or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent;
  • Recognized cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or other certification) considered an asset;
  • Minimum of two experience in cybersecurity;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365;
  • Knowledge of other software commonly used in health care or health care settings is an asset;
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001);
  • Incident analysis and vulnerability remediation skills;
  • Knowledge of risk analysis for connected equipment;
  • Knowledge of systems, processes, data and function at a technical level;
  • Knowledge of concepts related to information systems and their environment;
  • Knowledge of privacy standards;
  • Knowledge of health network systems considered an asset;
  • Ability to analyze events and produce clear reports and recommendations;
  • Ability to understand the needs of users and their impact on the IT environment;
  • Ability to interpret complex data, detect anomalies and propose solutions;
  • Documentation skills, such as writing reports, new policies or remediation plans;
  • Communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Proven ability to simplify and adapt the level of technical information to the audience;
  • Ability to design and deliver training courses on IT security;
  • Tolerance for ambiguity, attention to detail;
  • Able to adapt easily and to manage several projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to manage organizational change;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
