Asset and Infrastructure Manager

The Village of Valley Waters is currently seeking an Asset and Infrastructure Manager to join the municipal team. The selected person will be the senior advisor on asset and infrastructure matters, reporting directly to the CAO.

This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing the strategic infrastructure objectives of the municipality, including the Asset Management Plan - which may require updating the current inventory of assets, assessing the relative health and condition of assets as well as exposure to risk, and incorporating asset inventory into an asset management strategy.

The selected individual will also oversee the execution of capital projects and therefore should have a proven track record with successful capital planning and project completion - specifically with skills to deliver capital projects on-time and on-budget.

This position also provides support to the CAO on infrastructure issues related to extreme weather and new infrastructure initiatives including research, financial and feasibility analysis, policy development, and best practices for infrastructure management and development.
