As a Senior Leader with SNB's Technology Services Division, you'll be part of a team of over 800 professionals responsible for delivering modern and secure digital solutions for government, public education, and healthcare. What You Will Do

As Executive Director of Engagement and Planning Services branch, you'll lead a team of 200 professionals to deliver innovative, high impact services and exceptional client experiences that exceed partner expectations. Reporting to the Vice-President of Technology Services, you will:

  • Lead and continuously enhance the cost-effectiveness, availability, quality, and resilience of IT service management functions—including service desk operations, client services, program management, contract administration, and IT procurement.
  • Motivate and engage a diverse, province-wide team of professionals, foster their growth & development and nurture a strong sense of purpose.
  • Define strategic success for the branch by setting clear short- and long-term goals that make meaningful impact on our division and our partners.
  • Establish and optimize operational performance metrics to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Use innovative thinking and implement service design strategies to achieve outstanding service delivery.
  • Embed change management and communication best practices into daily operations and solution delivery to address barriers of change and reinforce a culture of adaptability.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across Technology Services to identify, evaluate and pursue opportunities for service improvements.
  • Engage with senior leaders in government departments and regional health authorities to understand business needs and advocate internally on their behalf to influence division decision making and priorities.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key vendors to proactively identify opportunities for service innovation and improvement.
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects that advance IT service management and elevate client engagement practices.
  • Prepare and administer the annual budget for the branch, continuously monitoring and optimizing expenditures to maximize impact and efficiency.

"Must Have" Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you hold the following education and experience:

  • University degree or diploma in a relevant field (Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, etc.).
  • At least eight (8) years of management experience leading teams toward common vision and outcomes, including four (4) years at the senior level with significant HR and financial management responsibilities. Equivalent combinations of training and experience may be considered.
  • Experience leading transformational change to achieve service improvements.
  • Understanding and application of project management and change management methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Able to occasionally travel within the province.

"Nice to Have" Qualifications

Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.

  • Demonstrated training or experience in design thinking, customer journey mapping and/or business process modeling & optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience applying a client service orientation to service delivery.

Salary: $122,486 – 134,784 annually (Pay Band 9 – Management and Non-Union Pay Plan) as well as a comprehensive benefits package (paid vacation, health, dental, life, long-term disability, and pension).
