Driver Helper

Job Title: Driver Helper

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Shift: Short-term assignments (1-2 days) - 6:45am start time, 6-8 hours

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

This position provides support to a delivery team throughout the day. The work is active and requires a dependable individual who can keep pace in a busy setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages or freight.
• Ride along with the driver to deliver products on a designated route.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of items to the correct locations.
• Organize and manage inventory.
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage during loading, transit, and delivery.
• Regularly engage in heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a driver helper role a strong asset
• Ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs regularly
• Able to work in follow directions, work with minimal supervision.
