We are looking to add a First Nations Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator to the Energy Efficiency Services team!
The Energy Efficiency Services team plays a key role in helping NB Power become the customer's partner of choice. This team delivers energy savings programs to New Brunswickers allowing them to reduce their energy bills, make their homes and buildings more comfortable, and reduce their impact on their environment.
As a key member of the Energy Efficiency Services team, the First Nations Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations and processes of the incentive programs. Serving as the program's subject matter expert, this role fosters strong internal and external relationships to ensure program objectives are achieved.
Key functions include:
• Responsible for day-to-day administrative operation of the incentive programs
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with contractors, channel partners, and First Nations, ensuring: they are aware of all aspects of program; processes for incentives are meeting needs; and that regular feedback is gathered
• Act as the single point of contact and program expert as it relates to program guidelines, eligibility criteria, training etc.
In your application, please highlight the following requirements for this role:
• Self-identifies as Indigenous (First Nation, Metis, or Inuit)
• Basic proficiency level in the following Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
• Familiarity with New Brunswick's First Nations
• Post-secondary degree or two-year diploma in one of the following: Business, Office Administration, Arts, Journalism/Public Relations, or Education.
AND
• Work experience in one or more of the following (a post-secondary degree must be complemented with two years of work experience, a two-year diploma must be complemented with four years of work experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent must be complemented with six years of work experience):
o Working for or within Indigenous communities
o Delivering programs or services to customers
o Relationship building
o Business/office administration
o Energy Efficiency
o Using SAP in a customer service environment
An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
