Job Title: Service Technician

Location: Moncton, NB

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

Wage: $21.00/hour

Our client is looking for a Service Technician to join their team in Moncton, NB. As a Service Technician, you will be required to perform duties of maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting systems, and other life safety systems as required. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent placement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain fire protection systems
• Inspect sprinklers, alarms, and emergency lighting
• Test and troubleshoot for code compliance
• Verify system functionality
• Document service reports with findings and fixes
• Respond to emergency service calls
• Support system modifications and upgrades
• Manage equipment and material inventory
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards
• Stay updated with training on fire protection technologies
• Communicate clearly with clients and ensure satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingualism is required
• Able to work in a flexible environment
• Able to work unsupervised or with others
• Must be bondable
• Must be neat in appearance
• Must be customer-service oriented
• Early riser and self-starter is an asset
