Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Moncton office. Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing large-scale electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver multiple electrical projects from start to finish.
Oversee all aspects of project management including estimating support, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
Lead and mentor project teams, including project coordinators, site supervisors, and electricians.
Monitor project performance, manage risk, and implement corrective actions as required.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and company policies.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes within Gardner Electric.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the electrical or construction industry.
Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience.
Proven track record of managing large electrical projects ($5M+).
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
PMP designation or Gold Seal Certification (or working toward) is considered an asset.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
