We are looking for a Director, EMP Operations.
As our new Director, EMP Operations , reporting to the Vice President, Extra-Mural Program Operations of Medavie Health Services New Brunswick, you will be responsible to oversee the EMP Enhanced Clinical Services in Special Care Homes service, the Mobile x-ray services, the EMP Care Coordination Center and the Care Coordination of complex cases in school service. You will supervise the programs encouraging teamwork and motivating staff to achieve the goals and objectives associated with the shift to ambulatory care and the needs of the communities served ensuring expected outcomes are reached. Your primary focus will be developing, implementing and maintain a provincial home healthcare and services program in cooperation with various first-line providers, departments and partners.
You will also ensure tools are in place to support managers throughout the operations while also being responsible for developing, introducing and maintaining a standardized performance and quality management system. You will assess the efficient use of human resources in order to improve the performance of the Extra-Mural Program preparing growth projections to meet the changing needs of the population served.
Of key importance, is your ability to establish working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the delivery of services is coordinated through the continuum of care, at all times. You will ensure the collaboration, innovation and integration with partners and community agencies in terms of services provided for the populations.

Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience;
- Experience in the delivery and management of home health care services who understands the New Brunswick landscape;
- Demonstrated experience in a geographically dispersed, complex, multi program/service environment including multi-unionized environments;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead in times of significant change;
- Specialized knowledge in business development planning and project management;
- Member in good standing of your licensure association; and
- Post-secondary education in the health sciences field, related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience with preference to post-secondary studies in business.
Bilingualism is an asset for this position. Travel will be required.
