Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As Manager, Integrated Marketing and Content, you will help to shape how Canadians perceive and experience RBC through top-of-house marketing campaigns and engaging content programs designed to create preference and drive distinction.

Your role will make a real difference as a bridge between campaign and content development – ensuring all marketing work fits together, tells a consistent story and delivers clear value to consumers.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in how RBC shows up in-market – helping to unite brand storytelling, relevant content and business priorities into one cohesive strategy.

What will you do?

  • Partner with internal and external agency partners to execute integrated mass campaigns to drive consideration and amplify RBC's top-of-house positioning through creative development and media planning
  • Support content strategy and development aligned to key financial themes and cross-LOB priorities
  • Manage timelines, budgets and stakeholder communications to ensure seamless execution
  • Collaborate with analytics, media and research teams to measure impact, identify optimization opportunities, and create post-reports to inform future efforts
  • Keep a pulse on competitive activity, industry news and consumer trends to inspire consumer-centric marketing and content that feels fresh, relevant and distinct.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous innovation and collaboration within the marketing team to drive growth through creativity and experimentation.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 4-5 years of marketing or content experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to clarity, tone, and detail.
  • Experience developing integrated mass campaigns and managing agencies through creative brief writing, concepting and testing, execution across channels, and measurement
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines, while keeping stakeholders informed at every step
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and a knack for tailoring messaging to different audiences
  • Proven ability to make a real impact within a cross-functional team by influencing key stakeholders and generating alignment around ideas
  • An emphasis on building positive working relationships by putting the team-first, supporting peers, sharing knowledge and contributing to an inclusive work environment
  • Uses critical thinking to assess situations, anticipate challenges/opportunities, and make informed decisions
  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing circumstances
  • Curious and eager to explore new ideas, test approaches, and stay up-to-date on marketing trends

Nice-to-have

  • Diploma/degree in marketing or other related field
  • SEO/AEO content experience
