Job Description

WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?

A Lead Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis efforts to identify, assess, and prioritize business needs and opportunities for improvement. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. The focus of this role includes Jira solutions, as well as supporting the publication and implementation of formal documentation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to address them
  • Conduct business analysis, including gathering and analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations
  • Develop and implement business process improvements, including process mapping, workflow design, and change management
  • Work with IT teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including design and process documents, and process workflows
  • Communicate business analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams
  • Publish approved content on internal website

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Strong understanding of business operations, including business processes, organizational design, and change management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Expertise with Jira project administration capabilities and the ability to configure creative Jira solutions to support complex business needs

Nice to have:

  • Proficient in charting / processes design tools (e.g. LucidChart, Visio)
  • Proficient with Version Control for documentation (e.g. GitHub, documenting versions in documents)
  • Experience with writing in markup languages (e.g. HTML, Markdown, XML)
