Job Title: Truck Helper

Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (various work sites)

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00PM - 4:00AM

Hourly Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Truck Helper to join our client's team in Dartmouth. In this role, you will assist delivery drivers in transporting and delivering fuel to residential and commercial customers. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires reliability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Driver: Support navigation, delivery setup, and help ensure routes are completed efficiently and safely.
• Handle Fuel Hoses: Safely maneuver and manage heavy hoses during fuel deliveries.
• Assist with Fueling: Help connect hoses and assist in fuel transfer operations while adhering to strict safety standards.
• Load and Unload Equipment: Help move delivery materials, tools, and safety equipment as needed.
• General Labour Duties: Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly.
• CSA-approved safety shoes required.
• Comfortable with repetitive physical work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Dangerous Goods training may be required for certain work locations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
