Job Title: Warehouse Custodian

Shift: Days, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm OR Afternoons, 10:30am -7:00pm

Rate of Pay: $23.00/hour

Location: Milton, Ontario - James Snow Parkway North & Regional Road 25

Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

We are hiring Temporary Warehouse Custodians for our client's distribution center in Milton! Candidates must have a vehicle and valid license to commute to work. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a previous commercial or industrial janitorial role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cleaning, sanitizing, and dusting in break rooms, restrooms, visitor areas, meeting rooms, and office spaces
• Operate cleaning equipment to maintain warehouse cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Sort and dispose of garbage and recycling materials appropriately
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies in designated areas including offices, break rooms, washrooms, and warehouse zones
• Monitor and conduct inventory checks of janitorial supplies as required
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general floor maintenance across the facility
• Assist with other general cleaning and facility maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a custodian or janitorial role
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs regularly
• Reliable vehicle and own license required (the facility is not transit accessible)
• Available for necessary overtime
• CSA Safety Shoes in good condition
• Willing to provide a criminal record search
