JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Oncology Services, the incumbent will lead all activities related to the IT systems in Oncology Services. As part of their duties, they will participate in planning and organizing IT programs, services, finances and equipment, as well as staff training and quality and risk management for these systems. The incumbent will be responsible for managing, optimizing and using IT systems in oncology, such as MOSAIQ™ or other systems. They will also be responsible for the associated data infrastructure, including SQL Server environments. This position ensures the production of high-quality data analyses and statistical reports to support clinical decision-making, operational efficiency, and planning. The incumbent will oversee and develop the regional analysis of systems management for Oncology Services and work closely with other systems managers, an IT team, SNB and other stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in health informatics, data science, computer science or a related field (master's degree preferred);
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the health field or a related area;
  • Proven experience using MOSAIQ;
  • SQL language skills and experience in managing SQL Server environments;
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, statistics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, R, Python);
  • Proven expertise in C#, DAX and the Windows environment;
  • Experience in using Crystal Reports;
  • Experience in a hospital or health care setting, ideally in oncology;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in a dynamic environment;
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to learn quickly and proactively to master new systems, tools and technologies;
  • Excellent communication skills (French and English) and interpersonal skills, with the ability explain technical concepts to non-specialist stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and strong skills in implementing change management strategies;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and understanding of the organization's priorities and needs;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use it;
  • Availability to travel within the Network's territory;
  • Ability to mobilize and engage and to act as a change agent;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
