Horizon Health Network in beautiful New Brunswick is looking for an Energy Co-ordinator/Chief Engineer to join our team!

Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Energy co-ordinator/Chief Engineer. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Class 2 NB Power Engineer License and will have 5 years experience in guarded power plants, energy management, and Mechanical and HVAC Systems.

Who you are

You have worked in a Guarded Power Plant environment for a minimum of 5 years. You have experience in Energy Management and Building Control Systems. You have a basic proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications. You have strong communication and organizational skills and are able to manage budgets, schedules and personnel.

Power Engineering Course with a valid New Brunswick Class 2 Licence

5 years experience in Power Engineering and 2 years Energy Management

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.

What you will do

- oversee the day to day Operations of the Power Plants

- supervise the Area's Power Engineers and Building Systems Operators

- monitor and provide reporting on energy consumption and building control systems

- recommends policy/procedure and system changes to decrease energy consumption

- promotes effective energy standardization in the Moncton Area Facilities and be a member of the Horizon Energy Network

- responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory/equipment to maintain operations

- oversees equipment maintenance/replacements/upgrades and special projects

- be a member of the FEPM management on call rotation
