POSITION: Environmental Worker (Villa Acadienne)
STATUS: Permanent Part-Time

JOB PURPOSE:

MAINTAINS AND PROMOTES RESIDENTS WELL BEING by Maintaining the Villa Acadienne in clean, sanitary and homelike conditions.

Villa Acadienne are long term care facilities that has adopted the Eden Alternative Philosophy of Care. We believe in a resident centered care approach and strive to make life for our resident's worth living. We're moving away from a medical model of care and transforming our home into a place where residents can continue to grow and live full lives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

• Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Able to understand and speak French an asset.
• Team player.
• A good understanding of the elderly.
• Physically capable of completing job tasks (carrying, lifting, kneeling, pulling, pushing).
• Able to work flexible hours (days, weekends, holidays).
