Job Title: Front Load Garbage Truck Driver (DZ License)

Hours: Day shift: 6:00am start time, 5 days per week. Weekends as needed - must be available for overtime.

Rate of Pay: $30-$33/hour to start

Closest Intersection: Grimsby, ON - South Service Rd. and Kerman Ave

We are hiring a Front Load Garbage Truck Driver for our client in Grimsby. This company provides waste removal services around the GTHA . Qualified candidates will have a valid DZ Class Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract, be available to work on weekends , and have experience in a similar front load driving role. This position is a long-term to permanent hire position with a reputable company.

R esponsibilities include:

• O peration of a modern diesel front loading refuse collection truck
• C onduct truck safety and maintenance inspections daily
• Secure loads safely and efficiently
• Complete and provide all required paperwork and driver logs
• Report on any issues or customer concerns
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and collection team
• Safely drive company vehicles and keep vehicles clean
• Other general duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-years verifiable DZ driving experience
• Willing to provide clean driver's abstract dated within 30 days
• Willing to provide driver's CVOR dated within 30 days
• Willing to provide a criminal background check
• Candidates must be 25+ years of age
• Strong attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
• CSA certified safety shoes
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
