SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solution Architect II, possessing expertise in Data and Artificial Intelligence, to spearhead our data and AI-ML roadmaps. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the enterprise data and AI team to drive innovation and implement cutting-edge solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data and AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assume a leadership position in the design and implementation of comprehensive data and AI solutions, aligning with overall business objectives and strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed architectural blueprints, encompassing data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-powered applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and industry best practices in the fields of data management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Lead the development of proof-of-concept projects to validate new technologies and architectural patterns, demonstrating their potential value to the organization.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and security standards, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in architectural review boards, providing expert feedback and guidance on proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Contribute to the development of data and AI strategies, roadmaps, and budgets, aligning with overall business priorities and resource constraints.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data and AI technologies, attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Additional Requirements
- Proficiency in SAP data landscape and environment, including hands-on experience with SAP data integration tools and technologies
- Experience integrating AI solutions with SAP systems, including the utilization of SAP Joule
- In-depth understanding of SAP data models and data governance principles, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud and other SAP reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform and its capabilities for developing and deploying AI solutions
- Experience with SAP Leonardo and its AI/ML capabilities, leveraging pre-trained models and custom development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SAP consultants and developers, ensuring seamless integration of AI solutions into the SAP ecosystem
- Strong understanding of data security and privacy considerations within the SAP environment, implementing appropriate safeguards
- Experience with SAP data migration and transformation projects, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, continuously learning and adapting to new developments
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is absolutely essential for this important position.
- Possession of at least ten years of professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role is absolutely required.
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-based data and AI solutions
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling techniques, and data visualization tools is exceptionally critical for success.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink is extremely important.
- Experience with generative AI models such as Google Gemini for data solutions and Amazon Q for data solutions is extraordinarily valuable in this position.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and database management systems, including both relational and NoSQL databases is critical.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, data quality management practices, and data security protocols is extraordinarily important in this role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is extremely important.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, are highly desirable and extremely valuable.
Preferred Qualification
- A master's degree or doctorate in computer science, data science, or a related field is certainly considered advantageous for this position.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with data science platforms such as Databricks, SageMaker, and Azure Machine Learning
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA
- Experience with graph databases and knowledge graph technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues is a definite plus.
Working Conditions:
- Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
