The ASR IV plays a critical role in the Transmission & Distribution Operations group. Duties include managing the weekly and annual on-call roster, storm support, time entry, payment of invoices, ordering and managing the office supplies, ensuring purchase cards are processed and paid accordingly, reviewing VIM invoices, along with any general administrative support as required.

Key functions include:
• Managing general administrative duties, including but not limited to, VIM invoicing reviews, contractor invoicing, attending monthly safety meetings, keeping minutes for meetings, managing the on-call roster, storm support, managing the inventory for office supplies and ordering new supplies as required (this role will also be required to travel to the Bouctouche office at least once a week to complete any of the aforementioned administrative tasks).
• Reconciling high limit purchase cards that support districts and storm restoration events for Distribution & Customer Service Operations.
• Completing time entry and payroll for Distribution & Customer Service Operations and serve as a backup for Transmission Operations when required.

The ideal teammate will have:
• Post Secondary education in Business Administration or related discipline (diploma, certificate, degree) or High School diploma
AND
• A valid class 5 driver's license

Applicants with post-secondary:
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in administrative roles
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience processing invoices or purchase cards
• Experience with time entry systems
• Bilingualism is not a requirement for the role but will be considered an asset.

Applicants with a High School diploma:
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in administrative roles
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience processing invoices or purchase cards
• Experience with time entry systems
• Bilingualism is not a requirement for the role but will be considered an asset.

An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
